Coming out of hiding.....

Hello Delaware, I am guilty of lurking on the Delaware board and not posting anything since Jan.  I just wanted to stop in to say HELLO and to give you a quick update. Everything in my life since Jan of this year or longer has completely changed.  My employment, my car, my housing, even my church.  Back in April my career of 22 years was lost due to cut backs from a new owner and a decrease in sales.  I was the lucky one to be let go because they knew I would be leaving this time next year.  When I lost my job I decided to move to Maryland with my boyfriend and his family and find a job down here.  I was extremely lucky, there were no travel agent jobs in Wilmington, but there were two in Salisbury, MD.  So I loaded up a U-Haul and I moved to the farming area of Federalsburg, MD.  I moved in with my boyfriend and things are going great, July 8th it will be 1 year since we started dating.  I am now in employed with Boscov's Travel in Salisbury, MD.  My car changed when my uncle gave my son a 1992 Geo Metro convertable, since he couldn't drive a stick shift I gave him my car and took the Geo.  When I got the job in Salisbury I knew that driving 60 miles round trip every day with a car that was that old wouldn't be a good thing, so I traded that in and got me a 2001 Chrysler Seabring convertable.  I love my new job, I love where I am living and I love the wind blowing my hair as the top is down on the car.    My son decided to stay in Wilmington to finish out his senior year at AI duPont.  He moved in with my mom and is adjusting to living with her.  I miss him very much, but I know he is only a short drive away.  He will be joining the USMC on July 14, 2009 after he graduates.   My weightloss is going well.  I was in a car accident in Jan and have been in PT since then.  I was rearended and I hurt my back and neck.  So they are trying to get that fixed.  I can't do much walking or standing or the pain kicks back, so I do what I can exercise wise.  I can fit into a size 10, which I haven't seen since I was a senior in high school.   I miss everyone and my wonderful support groups,  I hope everyone is doing great and that I will be able to attend a meeting soon. Deanna, So glad to see you posting again. You have been missed. Now that you are down this way stop in one of our lower slower Delaware groups. We have one in oak orchard and Seaford. We do have people who come from maryland too. You are not far. Watch the Maryland board for Deb is starting a group in Maryland too. We would love to have you join our committee for our Tri State Pilgrimage. Life sounds really good for you. I am so glad, You deserve it !!!!.Can't wait to see your hair blowing in that car. I moved down hear from Smyrna when Debbie was starting her Senior year of high school. She stayed with my sister until she graduated. It all worked out great for us all.
