Sunday Roll Call

Sorry it is so late but here it is. What are you up to on this fine hot Day. It is very muggy here in slower lower Delaware. We got a new air conditioner put in our bedroom yesterday. My son bought it as a late annaversary gift. At least hubby is cool. It is hard for him to breath in the heat. Today has been a day of Victory for me. I have been praying that Debbie would start going to church with us as a family before my husband passes away. Today she went to church with us and even treated to lunch afterwards. She said she will be going every Sunday now with her Dad. I am so proud of her I could just cry. Here is me jumping for joy !!! WA HO ! See you lighter. Joanne

Hi Joanne, Glad to hear everything is going well for you and that Debbie made your day.  As for me, we went to the YMCA to go swimming for a few hours so I am totally burned up.  My husband is Italian so he just browns and my kids inherited his tanning genes and they just look like little indians! Enjoy your air conditioning! Judy

Judy, Thanks ! I was all settled in , in my PJ's and all . Debbie called and says" get dressed , lets take the girls to the boardwalk. Since I have not been yet this year I go with her. We walk ,play the cranes and put the girls on rides. At least I got some walking in. I love watching people on the boardwalk. See you lighter. Joanne

Well here I am, better late than never! This morning I had promised myself to stay on track no matter WHAT, and I made myself a list of things to do around the house to keep myself busy. (With two small children it's not too hard to find *something* that needs cleaning LOL.)

I had a good day with the food, too. And I'm getting ready to slip my sneakers on and take a brisk walk around the neighborhood. It was just too hot and humid to attempt that during the daytime.

Joanne, please let me know if I can do anything for you and your family. I am right around the corner.

BJ, Thank you so much for the offer. We are ok. We have good days and bad days. I try to stay busy as much as possible. I have a 10 and 9 year old here so they help keep me busy. Debbie lives down the street from me and is here everyday. First thing in the morning she either calls or comes down to check on her Dad.  I wish you luck at rearranging your shedule so you can make the meeting Wednesday. We would love to have you join us. I am hoping to get my son to stay with his dad so Debbie can come too. I gathered up samples today and have to go thru clothing tomorrow for the clothing exchange.  we will be doing taste testing of protein products both hot and cold.  Hope to see you there.
