Saturday Roll Call
Good Morning all. As you can see I am going to be try to do Roll Call Everyday. I am hoping more of you will get on the bandwagon and get this site going again. I NEED EVERYONE'S HELP TO DO THIS !!! A BIG thanks goes out to all who have answered or did a post this week ! While I am typing this my husband and grandkids are giving the dog a flea bath. Then it is off delivering kids all over Delaware. Robert has to be dropped off at his Mom's in Pearson Corner. I will go to Bylers while I am up there. Pick up my bargains for the week. I have to get more Extra large shells for stuffing. They went over big when I made them this week. Rigata Cheese is real cheap there when they have it. We are doing a taste test at my support group this week so I need a few things for my recipes too. Alexus has a friend over so I have to take both of them to a pool party in Pott Nets and then a sleep over (slumber Party) in Georgetown. By 5pm I will be kid free until tomorrow afternood. Then I will be at my neighbors the rest of the night.. It is party time!!! Shrimp, laughter, Good neighbors WOO HOO! See you lighter. Joanne
Wow Joanne, it sounds like you have a full day ahead of you! I'm still in my cleaning mode. Working on the up stairs today. Took the shower doors off to totally detail the bathroom.
I'm trying to teach my daughter (12 yo) the value of money and that you have to work to get anywhere in life. She's at my neighbors house helping her clean to earn money. I know she'll value it more than if I just handed her a $20. (well maybe not, but i'd like to think so) Thursday she made signs and had my son drive around the neighborhood on his bike and she sold "slurpee's" for $ .50 each and made $5.50. She gave my son $1 for his help.
Everyone have a great weekend and stay COOL!!!

Judy, I love your ideal of teaching your daughter the value of money. Beleive me I have worked in juvenile detention for over 22 years. I beleive the true key is to keep them busy and let them know the value of working for what you get in life. That is why I stay busy with my grandkids..I didn't get bac****il 6pm . Jumped in the shower and off to the neighbors. I started to eat and got that going to get sick feeling. I had to come home and get sick. I went back and could eat a few shrimp about an hour later. I felt really bad because they worked so hard cooking. I think I was just rushing around to much. Hubby got tired around 10pm so we came home. It was a good day. See you lighter. Joanne
B.J. Sounds like you need to go shopping for that kitchen. I have worked on my kitchen this week, dejunking. I have the same problem. You might want to stop by the support group Wednesday night. We are having some taste testing which might give you some ideals as to what to stock in your kitchen. We are also doing a clothing exchange. Should be interesting. Take it one day at a time and don't beat yourself up. Be proud and hold your head up high. See you lighter.Joanne
