Friday Roll Call

Good Morning all. TGIF !! It is already very hot and sticky in Lower Slower Delaware.  I did some yard work last night and it was really Hot out about 7pm.  I dug out my exercise bike from the shed and took it to Debbie's. We are setting up a little exercise area on her porch. She has her porch air conditioned so there is no excuse for us not to exercise. I am going to attempt to make homemade salsa with fresh corn and black beans today. My grandson is going to his Mom's for the weekend. My grandaughter ( the social butterfly at 10 ) is to busy to go . She has a pool party and a slumber party to go to tomorrow . She was invited to another party too but couldn't be two places at once. I told her she needs to get a job so she can buy her own gifts. ANYONE KNOW WHERE A TEN YEAR OLD CAN GET A JOB ???? She is great at talking on the phone ! Everyone is always saying " Alexus where is the phone ?"  I think it is starting to grow to the side of her head. My neighbor is cooking shrimp for all tomorrow night . No kids, shrimp and good neighbors with air conditioning. Oh my there is a heaven ! Ok all have a good day and weekend ! I have battled enough . What are your great plans ? Glad we made it to Friday.  Going out to walk before it gets toooooooooo much hotter.  Having lunch with my daughter today after she rans her errands.  My husband has been away all week in Boston and I pick him up tomorrow night at the train station.  Going back to visit my mother in law in the morning to help her with some more things.  Hope to just relax on Sunday.  Hope everyone has a nice weekend and stay cool.

Goodness, its been a long week.  I thought Friday would never get here.  Hopefully we'll go swimming at the YMCA this weekend.  MY son just got his cast off (right arm, broke left on last Sept) I just want to rest, relax and clean the darn garage out!

Judy, Bet you don't get help to clean that garage this weekend. It's to hot. Go swimming !! You can always say after we clean the garage we will go swimming.  Hope it all works out. Best of all I hope you relax and are good to yourself. Keep cool !!!! See you lighter. Joanne

Ha, wrong answer!!  I made my kids help, no option to say no.  We did a great job so I took them out for some ice cream.  No I didn't buy any for me.  Darn.  But I'm so glad to have the garage clean! Have a great weekend.
