Wednesday Roll Call

Good morning to all!!  How's everyone doing?  Not much happening around my way.  I do have an appointment with Dr. Peters today.  My 6 month follow up but really it's 7 months. Judy , Thanks for doing roll call ! About my medical procedure ! Yesterday I do my prep. Don't eat after breakfast. Only drink green tea and start my prep at 4pm. I have to drink 1 gallon of this mix. 1/2 between 4 and 5:30 . A glass every 15 minutes. Then start again at 6:30 -8:oo . 1 glass every 15 minutes. Sounds like fun RIGHT ! Then you sit on the toilel until after 10pm. All goes well. I get up this morning  7lbs lighter  over night .( Oh YES I GOT WEIGHED ) . You know what that means!!!, You can laugh!!, shower and get ready. ! Then I drop the grandkids off at the Boys and Girls Club, Stop and fill up with gas, Go to the Mac and pick up Debbie. Take the 2 1/2 hour ride to D.C. I get to the endocopy suite and they tell me I am there the wrong day ! DR. KOCH IS ON VACATION !  If you have heard about Debbie she almost rolled on the floor. Then they ask me if I used the prep ! What do they think I did. Debbie answers every guestion they ask. Her reply was "" Oh yeah!  She used it, she didn't even call me last night ! She was too busy on the toilet "  I had to get new prescripsions for  the prep.  We have to go down to the Dr's  office where they know us as Good Cop and Bad Cop. All she did was laugh, laugh and laugh somemore. I could of killed her. Then she says I can't wait to tell Robert ( my grandson) . He tells me I am confused alot lately. What a day. Now I get it done in July. Hope everyone's day was better then  mine. All wasn't lost ! We got out for the day ! Had a few laughs , wasted gas and had no coffee. See you lighter. Joanne

Joanne, That is definitely a first!  I'm so sorry.  The prep is the worst part of the whole procedure, and having to go through twice is really painful.  Although I can imagine having Debbie laughing all the way back, was also fairly painful.  Once thing for sure, you will certainly have the cleanest plumbing in Southern Delaware for awhile.  See you soon, Rob

Rob, Oh yes my plumbing is clean. Debbie's laughing was not so bad. She has been very down lately due to her Dad's health. She even had to go to the Dr. and get something for her nerves. Actually I enjoyed seeing her laugh for I hadn't seen that in awhile. She needed the day away. We both did. It would of been nice to of gotten my test over with. It is just one of them test we all hate. I think the worse part was driving to D.C. with no coffee. There is a special store we stop at just before the Bay Bridge that has the best flavored coffee. I really look forward to that on our D.C. trips. I drove right on by. Didn't even stop there to go to the bathroom. I have to admit that is the first time I have driven to D.C. without stopping to use the bathroom. See you lighter. Joanne

Wrong day??!!  Oh Joanne, I feel bad for you!!  The idea of loosing 7 pounds over night did appeal to me but only for a second cause I know I could have never consumed the prep.  Now you have to do it all over again, my oh my. Judy

Judy, Yeah ! All over again next month. At least I know what to exspect now. Maybe I will lose 10 lbs over night this time a round. HEY A GIRL CAN DREAM CAN"T SHE ? Oh I didn't tell you. Debbie got weighed while we were there. She gained 2 lbs. All I could say was " GOD DON'T LIKE UGLY " She is still losing good so we can joke. See You lighter. Joanne
