Good morning all! Our plans for today are kind of messed up due to the weather. Between my neighbors , Debbie and myself we have planned to BBQ every Sunday. I went to New Castle Farmer's Market yesterday and got some nice fresh corn to put on the grill. There may not be no grilling today due to rain. Bummer !!!! Well on to plan "B". We are off to church this morning then we will go to Royal Farms afterwards for lunch ( I hate going there but hubby loves it ). I will play it by ear after that !!! Hopefully Debbie will cook dinner and we will all eat down her house. Oh I have to go to Harris Teeter sometime today. They have a great shrimp sale. (2 lb bag for $5.44, limit 3 bags ). I will get my 3 and put it in the freezer. Great protein !!! What is everyone else up to today ? See all lighter. Joanne

Hi Joanne! We're heading out to good ole Home Depot.  We measured for a deck and my husband wants to get the cost.  He'll build it himself with me being his "free" labor.  Is Harris Teeter a grocery store?  We used to have a house in Millsboro but I've never heard of this. Yesterday I made some great chicken kabobs with summer squash, red onions green peppers and tomatoes along with a home made pasta salad and canteloupe.  The family loved everything and it was so healthy for them! Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday!!! Judy

Judy, Harris Teeter is a new store here by Happy Harry's. It is a really large store. They carry alot of gourmet foods and alot of health foods. They also have regular groceries. Sounds like you had a healthy  meal. Harris teeter had canteloupes for $.99. They were really good.too. See you lighter. Joanne

Good Morning Joanne and Everyone, I know it's Monday now, but I was at work when the Sunday Roll Call was posted.  I check the Delaware OH Message board each morning and saw the post just now. The first thing I did Sunday was get online and search for good deals on dining room chairs.  We SOOOO are tired of these unmatched, rickety old things we have now.  I sit on the only one we have that has a cushioned seat, due to so much weight loss and the OUCHIE tailbone issues.  This chair is over 35 years old and is being held together with string and glue.  It comes apart from time to time and I just go tumbling to the floor...too funny.  At any rate, I found some real nice chairs at Overstock.com for $160 a pair.  I ordered 3 pairs.  We will soon have 6 brand new dining room chairs in a cherry finish with cushioned seats, to match our table.  Keep in mind that up until now, with 3 morbidly obese people living here, we broke chairs on a regular basis.  Now that we have all become average sized folks, it's time for some new stuff.   Update: Ed has lost 240+ pounds since 9/2004.  I have lost 157 pounds since 10/2006, and Ed's son Chris has lost over 300 pounds since 3/2007. At 7am, I went to work and had a pretty busy morning, then got smacked in a big way for lunch.(I'm a cook at The Back Bay Cafe in Pot-Nets Bayside--Come see me- I am there most days from 8am-1pm) When I got home, I promptly tossed my apron and hand towels into the wash, took a shower and just chilled the rest of the day. Today is our wedding anniversary...8 years.  Not bad for having met on the internet.  We both have to work so there are no plans for anything special. I hope everyone has a good week!
