I am grateful today for another day with my family. For the sun being out and it not being overly hot. I am grateful for not being where I was 3 years ago ( pre-op ) . I am grateful for having wonderful grandkids ( it's morning and they are still in bed ) LOL !!!  I am Grateful that Debbie moved down the street from me. She has been my right hand lately. I am grateful that I don't have to cook today. I did that yesterday for a few days. Most of all I am grateful that I went to work everyday and banked sick and vacation time so it is there when I needed it.  I have over 8 weeks so I know I have at least that much time off with pay. I will make the most of each day with hubby. What are you grateful for today ? See you lighter. Joanne

I am grateful for my family and all my friends and having a reason to get up each day.  It sure is easier than it was 3 years ago.  Each day is a new adventure and some days are better than others in the eating department, but I feel so lucky to have this second chance at life to try and get it right this time.

I am grateful for being given a second chance at living a longer, healthier life.  I praise God for family and friends who support me, and pray for those in need.  I am grateful that my chronic back pain has become manageable with only occasional narcotic intervention, and that I can stand, walk, move around easily, and do all the things normal people take for granted.  I am grateful for being blessed with intelligent children---I am so proud of my kids...Sarah and hubby finally becoming self-sufficient and earning how to handle their own finances.  They have given us 3 wonderful grandchildren that we enjoy so much.  Erica made the President's List in the DelTech Nursing Program, and Alex passed the 7th grade and will be in advanced classes again next year.   I could spend days and days listing all that I am grateful for.  Life is good, and despite the occasional crisis, the good always outweighs the bad.
