Dawn,I was thinking about you. I know I told you I would call on Sunday. Saturday morning I took my husband TO Beebe Hospital. He was transported to Christiana Hospital and we are still here. I am staying with a friend up North while he is in here. He did one chemo and got an infection where the cancer is in his neck and throat. They didn't have the specialist he needed at Beebe. He could only drink on Saturday and by Sunday he could not swallow anything due to pain and swelling. He is doing alot better now. After talking with the Drs he has decided to stop all chemo . Hospice is going to be called in. Debbie is holding down the fort at home. I am so glad all went well.Welcome to the losers bench where there is always room for one more. I will call you when I get back to Sussex county. See you lighter. Joanne

Dawn, Thanks !!! Bob came home this afternoon under Hospice care. The nurse Kathy has came by and really seems like a wonderful person. All anyone can do at this time is keep Bob and everyone in your prayers. Debbie and my grandkids are really struggling. Hospice will be working with them too. The social worker will be by tomorrow. He is doing good at this point but has decided to stop all chemo. Take care of yourself and we will talk soon. See you lighter. Joanne

Glad I popped in.....Just finally starting to feel a little better - Gosh Joanne - I didn't realize that your husband's cancer had gotten to this point.  Hospice is a good thing.  They were very good with me and my Gram.  Be careful and make sure you are taking all your vitamins - don't get run down its too easy to do and you don't want to end up like me....sick forever it seems!   Thanks for all the calcium.  I don't like the cinnamon.  I will be ordering the chocolate or cherry. Be good and walk hard this weekend. Hugs and Fleece Blankets Debbie

Life is too short to eat lousy food!

Debbie, I am so glad to hear you are feeling a little better. Being sick all the time is no fun. I went thru that in the beginning of my journey. I am taking care of myself. I know I need to in order to take . care of Bob. I will be taking FML to be with him.  The chocolate is my favorite. i DID TALK TO WAL-GREENES  DOWN here and she said if i brought her a brochure she could check into carrying them.  I didn't get to take her the brochure due to Bob's hospitalization but I will do it soon. You might want to check your local store and ask about getting them in stock. They are available in Pa at a SaveWay health store.I bought them when I went to Lancaster for the PA. Pilrimage. Take care and continue to get better. See you lighter. Joanne
