Psych Eval

Hi everyone!  Tomorrow is my appt with the psychologist.  I am a little nervous just because I dont know what to expect.  Can anyone please share their experience of what they went through and what may happen at this appointment?

You have NOTHING to be worried about,....when I went and saw the PSYCH, it was pretty much answering a survey...A few questions on how you deal with being overweight, and a few questions if you are able to change (in your mind) after surgery....It took no longer then 1/2 hour...Best of Luck

My psych eval was with john uveges... He was very nice. It was easy.... Basically, he just asked me if my family was supportive or if anyone was against me getting surgery... They ask about depression and stuff like that.. I just said that I was happy in every other aspect of my life besides my weight and allowing that to hold me back... You will be fine. Don't be nervous!

Thank you both for your responses.  My computer has had no internet connection for a couple of days so I have been unable to get on OH.  My appt went well.  And just like yours AK it was very easy.  Same type of questions and she gave me the ok to set up my final appts which to me means she cleared me. =) I am almost there.  Two more months to go out of my six required by my insurance. Yay!

ahhh 6 months!!! well at least you are over half way through that! Good luck with everything. I can't make my final appt until I am done life skills classes which is the 31st....
