How are you surviving the Cold Weather
Almost 3 years out and I thought oh cool. My body is finally adjusting to all this cold stuff. hmmm. Ok, I was wrong. I just learned to dress. For yesterday I went outside without all my layers... HA! This wimp ran back in so fast it wasn't funny.
Hey Debbie! Loan me some blankies!

I hate it..............I used to look forward to days like this so I wouldn't look so out of place with all my sweaters and stuff on. Most people were wearing them to keep warm and I was wearing them to try and cover some of my fat (or at least I thought I was covering it) now I am just plain freezing. We had to purchase a space heater for our living room so I could come out of my blankets for a few minutes. I can't believe what a difference this weight loss has made to thermostat. I have sweaters all over the house and at work, too.
It could be worse...we could live in Alaska.
Stay warm
Ellen
I LOVE my special only for Gigee heater at home :) I have one at work too! And the winter is known for sending me to bed early.... when I just can't stand the cold anymore, it's bedtime. wohooo
I couldn't even imagine Alaska ;)

I have to admit that I still wear baggy sweaters. Friday was my birthday and I dressed on up, first time in a long time I showed off the slim me. I was surprised at the comments I got from people who have known me a long time (and only have known me since the weight loss). I hadn't realized that they had never seen me in form fitting clothes.
Of course... that was only huge encouragement to wear things like that more often!!

BBBBBBBRRRRRRR, Not enough blankets to keep this body warm. Thank God for Charlie's warm feet at night. I wear socks and jammies to bed with numerous blankets too. When I sit in my chair I keep a blanket on me and still shiver. I'm going to Hawaii for 2 weeks in February, maybe the sun will warm me up.
So good to see you online Gigee. Hope all is well. ((HUGS)) Elissa
