Hello!! No longer lurking.

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself to my fellow Delaware WLS brothers and sisters.  I had my surgery back in August and made it to my first support group meeting last night (PMRI).  I had a very good time and it was nice to see the actual people rather than profile pictures.  It was also nice to meet Rob in person although I felt as if I already knew him from this board and others.  I was pleasantly surprised to see how much fun (ex)obese people have at their own expense as well as that of other (ex)obese and (not so ex)obese people. I look forward to meeting more of you guys and leaning on you for support in the future (and hopefully offering some as well). Mike

Welcome, Mike.  It was great to meet you on Monday night.  Glad that you introduced yourself.  You seem to be doing very well with the surgery, but if you have questions or reflections just step up to the plate and let us know.  Hope to see you at more meetings. Rob

Its a fun group Mike!  I was so glad to be introduced to them so early on in my journey...Post OP but early post op.  They have great ideas and are always willing to help. Hope you are doing well? Debbie
