For patients below the canal

I have a girlfriend who lives in Middletown and would love to have bariactric surgery .  The CHRIAS group does not participate with her insurance and she was wondering if there are any other groups in Delaware that does it.   I will pass on any info you may have.  Thanks in advance. Dee

There is a group in Lewis called Delmarva Bariatrics.  I don't know what insurance they take but I can tell you , you have to pay $2500 that insurance does not pay. This covers a gym membership and support groups for 1 year. You can look it up on line.  They are off of 24 at the Tunnel Cancer Center building. Very good Dr. too. ( Dr. Safonski ). Spelling ????   No other groups that I know of in Delaware. What insurance does your friend have ?  If it is medicare she will have to go out of state because the surgery has to be done at a Center of Execellance.  Hope this helps. See you lighter. Joanne
