re: Round of Applause

A Big round of applause for the fashion show on Saturday. Christiana did a great job. The models were awesome. Where have you guys been hiding?? I only knew  6 of the models. Deanna, Rob, Denise, Doug, Juanita & Terri. Never saw anyone else at any of the support group meetings. What an inspiration you could be to us all. I have to admit I am a little hurt I wasn't asked to walk he runway. Oh well, there's always the next time.  ((HUGS)) Elissa

I am sooooooooooo sorry I missed all the events on Saturday.  Had a family situation that had to be taken care of.  I hope someone took pictures so I can see all my friends showing off their new bodies.  I hope everyone has a peaceful and happy Thanksgiving.

Elissa, to say it was the most amazing time of my life would be an understatement.  I still can not believe that they asked me, I don't know why I was picked but it was an honor to be up on that stage representing everyone who has ever had gastric bypass.  I am still on cloud 9 when I think about it.  I still here the gasps when I came out from the ramp and everyone saw my before picture and the live me on that stage.  I would love to have copies of the pictures that you took, my camera wasn't set right and all my pictures have a yellowish coloring and they are blurry.  I will be at the Christmas party on 12/1 if you have them then.
