I got my surgery date - Thurs Nov 15th

I went through the pre-certification appointments, the required support meetings, the nutrition classes , the behavior modification meetings-  just fine, took notes, listen carefully and learned alot.  However , when the Surgeon's office gave me my surgery date & time to be @ St F Hospital....then I I started getting nervous. I'm sure it's natural, everyone goes through it. I have even heard: when you look back on what you've been fretting over now, you'll wonder what you were so worked up about. 

Through these boards & the meetings I have a pretty good idea of what to expect, I guess I'll find out soon enough. The pre-op 10 day Optifast requirement, is turning out to be alot easier that I thought it would be.  I hope it's like that for my whole experience.

So wish me luck & say a little prayer for me. Soon I'll be a "loser" too.

That is great news and yes it's so true.  A year ago I was in your shoes.  I am coming up on my one surgiversary and I would do it over in a heartbeat if I had to.  If there is anything you need or just some support let me know.

Congratulations on your date. I will be 3 years out in Jan. and felt the same way you do when I got my date. But now I would not change anything for the world. Although I wish I lost more I do not regret having the surgery. Prayers coming your way.

Everything will be fine.  Dr. Wynn is great.  I do think the anticipation is the WORST part.
