UPCOMING CLASSES/EVENTS AT CHRISTIANA CARE

Good Morning Everyone, I just wanted to put a bug in everyone's ears about some of the upcoming classes and events at Christiana Care.  They have some really good classes coming up and it would be great to see some new and not so new faces at the support group meetings. 11/5/07 730pm PMRI What to Expect the first 3 months.....This is a great support group meeting for anyone who is either getting ready for the surgery or thinking about the surgery. 11/13/07 630pm PMRI Partner's in Change....This is a support group meeting for post ops only.  It is led my Margaret Keenan and is AWESOME!!!  It is free if you had your surgery at Christiana Care and $25.00 if you had it elsewhere.  You MUST register for this class 661-3000 11/17/07 10am PMRI Support Group....HELP THE SCALES ARE GOING UP                   200pm  John H. Ammon Medical Education Center @ Christiana Hospital Celebration for Center of Excellence and Fashion Show.                 12/3/07  7pm  PMRI  Support Group....Let's Talk Sugar Substitutes 12/11/97  630pm PMRI Partner's in Change....This is a support group meeting for post ops only.  It is led my Margaret Keenan and is AWESOME!!!  It is free if you had your surgery at Christiana Care and $25.00 if you had it elsewhere.  You MUST register for this class 661-3000 12/15/07  10am  PMRI  Reunion Meeting  This is a fun gathering for all post ops to get together and have a fun time looking back at where we were and how far we have come/lost.  ALL ARE INVITED. Support group meetings are an awesome place to go when you have questions, issues, problems, etc.  We have fun, make friends and of course support each other on our journey to a healthier lifestyle.  I personally don't know what I would do without my friends from my support groups.  They have all become a major part of my life. Come on out and join the fun.....

Deanna,  Thanks for posting all these dates.  I, too, hope to see some new faces and catch up with all my old friends that I have made on this journey.  I could not have made it this far without the support I get from the people I have met.  Please think about coming to some of these meetings and getting involved. 11/17, 12/3 and 12/15 look good to me.  I'm going to put them on my calendar and plan to attend!
