Dr. Wynn

   Hello everyone.  I'm scheduled for surgery on 10/8 and I was wondering what to expect for the  pre-op and post-op diet from Dr. Wynn.  I've also heard many different times as far as being able to return to work.  I have kind of a physical job that  requires a lot of climbing up and down rail cars and tanker trucks so it would be nice to have a general idea as to how long I will be out.  Also, I'm still waiting on approval from BCBS Empire, has anyone had any problems with them.  Thanks for  listening.  Talk to ya soon...

I have Dr. Peter's, so i'm pretty sure the info is much the same.  He told me that he requires 4 weeks off. 2 weeks to recover from surgery and 2 weeks to start liquid diet, to get on a schedule for it.  If you go to the CHRIAS website you can print out the suggested diet to follow.  Both surgery types are listed. Good luck on everything and i wish for you that October 8th comes quick!!
