First Fill Questions...

Hi Everyone.  I have been reading the boards for a while now, but never needed to post until now.  I had Lap Banding in July and just had my first fill late last week.  Before the fill I was loosing about 2 pounds a week and could tolerate basically anything.  Since my fill things have changed.

I am ok with liquids and pureed foods, but whenever I try solid foods they feel like they are getting stuck in my throat.  I am being careful about the portions, not drinking before or during meals and cutting everything up very small, but it still happens.  Does this mean I got “over-filled”?  Will it work it self out on its own, or should I go back to my doctor to have some taken out?  I have been avoiding going back to the doctor because work has been crazy and getting the time off will be a pain.

Any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Is the food getting stuck, are you pb'ing or vomiting? You have to be the judge. Maybe you are just eating too fast. Remember you have to eat very SLOWLY and chew, chew, chew. It is always best to check with the office and ask them. Ask to talk to the doctor directly and ask him what he thinks. Good luck and hang in there :-)
