End of the season Beach Bash!
Just catching up on all the post. Oh Holly Lake!!!! Boy that brings back memories. We camped there for years and I mean years. Yes, I am right around the corner. I could walk to Holly Lake in 5 minutes or less. Let me know the next time you are in town. You have my number. If I'm off we will go have breakfast with Cathy or something. One thing I would love to do is walk Rehobeth Ave. Start at the beginning and walk to the boardwalk and back. I also love the outlets. Great exercise.Let me know what you decide. It is very busy down here this time of year. Those of us who live here look forward to October when we can travel around faster. You just can't understand unless you live here. See you lighter. Joanne
OK it's still on for the weekend of the 21-22 of September. Holly Lake has plenty of sites as well as cabins that sleep 4 or 6 people. I have freinds who will probably be staying in the cabins so I will get an RV site close to them.
I don't think the beach hotels get hammered on race weekends like they do upstate. I always used to go to Dewey during the June Race weekend and never had any problems getting a room.
Please email me if you are interested in joining us! My address is [email protected].
Hope to see as many of you there as possible!!!!!
I am soooo looking forward to that beach bash weekend! We took Alex and 3 of his prepubescent buddies to the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk last night. It's very liberating to be able to do the walking. My daughter and her husband met us there later on and Sarah and I went to the Old Time Photo place and had our pictures done. I actually fit into the costumes! We could all go there and pitch in and have a group photo done. It was so much fun....we dressed up like "hoes" and sat on the bar with our whiskey bottle and long tipped cigarettes...what a blast. I got my ears re-pierced too. My kids are so much fun now that they are all grown.
Keep us posted on the plans.
