Its nice to see ya back!  I feel like its been forever since I have done some serious postings.  Not sure why but use the excuse of being too busy with things.  I am busy but I should still make time for me!  So should everyone on this site.  As we get further out we forget that.  I had to get the kick in the butt to realize I need support and I need to follow our guidelines closely.  I wish I could be more like Rob....he is the most disciplined Dude I know in the journey!  Its nice to see the success beam!  I was sorry to read about Faye's grandson.  That is sad.   Well I am in school liking my course work so far.  Two classes this summer and two in the fall.  I hope to make it to a support group one day!  I need to find out about the next PMRI session.  Maybe we can all do lunch at it.  Come on people come on out!  Lets meet and greet!  Support is a good thing right! Be good my friend! Debbie

Ah, you make me blush.  Life has been incredibly hectic.  I just got home from doing a double at my gym (one hour of body bar, and one hour of spinning).   My daughter is moving to Philly next month to continue her education at Arcadia College (majoring in art theraphy).  We just got her an apartment.  It's extremely traumatic on us parents.   The next PMRI session is on July 21st at 10am.   I should be there.  I plan on running the 5k Blood Challenge down at the Riverfront at 8:30am and then stopping by for the PMRI session.  It's called "suumertime celebration:  staying on track while having fun!"  How appropriate.  Should be some good tips.  There is a place called PureBread (sandwiches and soups) about a block from PMRI which is a nice lunch stop.  Pizzas by Elizabeth is also close by if people want to be more adventuresome. Keep the faith and continue the journey. Rob B****his weekend Dwight and I will be doing the 69 mile American Cancer ride in Philadelphia which has us cross over the Ben Franklin Bridge (closed to all traffic for one hour while 7000 cyclist cross over the bridge).  Other big events this year include the Step up to Fight Diabetes (10 miles and 1000 steps in Philadelphia) on Oct 20th, the 150 mile MS Bike to the Bay,   Aslo the LiveStrong Challenge ride in Philadelphia in August if I can get some money together.

Its good to hear there are others with hetic lives right now.  Rob do you think its hetic now because we can do things more so then when we were heavier?  I am closing in on my therapy sessions to end....I like the one on one but all good things do come to an end.  She made a point to me that I would like to express to everyone....take the time you need for yourself.  Have fun with life, you are certainly doing it well.  People like me need help in that area.  I wish I could be at the July 21st meeting but I have family reunion with Tim's side that day and school too!  It sounds like it would be a fun one....I will definitely shoot for August....Classes are over the 16th so I have a few weeks of nothing.   Its good to read that you and Dwight have found a passion with biking!  My garden still looks good although this year it was a bit harder to get back into shape.  I didn't do my fall grooming of weeds last year which made it hard this year but we made it and it looks nice again!  I guess its to the gym tonight.  I must get back into my old routines that kept me straight that includes, support meetings, this site, diary (food) (YUCK), and still do the things I want to do with school and work.   Even with my gain, I still feel good, I am glad to be alive and able to do all the things I do and appreciate it every day!  Life is good..... Now stop your blushing!  And pat yourself on the back for taking that time for you!  Its a long time waiting and its good! PS.  Being an empty nester will get better with time!  Congrats to your daughter for taking the steps in life to be successful! Debbie

Yeah when is the next PMRI?  Now that I'm done gradumicated, I can actually make a meeting!  I have the schedule at home but forgot to bring it to work and make a copy for here. We did our usual Ocracoke VC the week before the 4th.  It was wonderful, as usual!  For the first time in 6 years I actually forgot what day it was for several days!  Already booked it for next year. Put the camper back on the truck last night.  Hopefully will be able to do some quickie weekends in it soon.  Money's tight right now because Rodger changed jobs last week and his pay weeks changed and he still hasn't gotten his final paycheck from old job yet (grrrrrr it was supposed to be here last friday).  This is the 2nd time this year we've had to go thru this.  Totally screws with my budget and bill pay timing.  I HATE that!

Hi Bonnie: It is so good to hear from you Bonnie, MY ANGEL.  I have called you several times.  Don't worry about the weight gain just go back to basics.   I am almost 2 years out and went back to basics and have lost 15 pounds in 1 month!  I am one of the unfortunate ones who stopped loosing at 6 months so maybe I'll be able to reach goal.....I am still loosing just like the beginning...incredible....BASICS WORK!  Bonnie please email me with your number.  Take care. Okay Okay you post these good results now you have to share the foods you are eating and the quantities.  Are you doing the time out things lots are doing on graduate board? I will be looking for your post - I hate this gain of mine!  Although it could be worse I could be 425 lbs! Debbie

Hi Dineen & Debbie: I write everything down I eat in my journal which I haven't done for a year.  I have stopped carbs...no bread/pasta/white flour at all.  I am convinced that the carbs are what stopped my weightloss so soon.  Once I eliminated the carbs the weight is coming off just like the beginning.  Breakfast: 2 eggs whites/slice of LF cheese/slice of ham or cottage cheese/fruit Lunch: Grilled Chicken with vegetables Dinner: Salad with grilled chicken Snack is yogart/cheese.  I basically eat protein/vegetables/frui****er I hope this helps.  I hope to see you both soon.
