Home again!
I am home from St. Francis having had my hiatal hernia repaired. It required getting 3 stitches. The good news is, my band had not slipped and my pouch had not dilated , as was thought! As usual, Dr. Peters was wonderful and explained everything to me in great detail. I am on liquids for the next few weeks, but that is not a problem. I have lots of protein powders to help me make it through. My band is my friend. We have a good relationship! LOL Presently, Lortab is my friend too! ha-ha In all seriousness, I am grateful that all was repaired and I am on the road to recovery (and more weight loss to boot :-))
Hey Mrs Carla
I was away, unsuccessfully trying to get a tan. I see you went to the hospital to have your problem attended to. I hope everything goes as plans and you don't have anymore issues with your band.
With everything good comes something not so good :-(. Hang there.
So were you cheesing all over the operating room, with that smile?. I bet they used some sort of gadget and propped your mouth open and turned the lights off and used your smile for the light in the room :-).
Seriously, Get well soon
Thank you everyone for your well wishes. I am getting itchy and am finding it hard to just relax. It is not in my nature to do so. I am too hyper.
Now Leonard, you must have been there huh? Because that is exactly what happened! WA
Seriously though, as a matter of fact , Dr Wynn asked me why I was smiling. I told her that I ALWAYS smile. My husband corrected me and said, "not always!" lol I wasn't smiling when it took the nurse a year and a day to discharge me, trust me. lol
Thanks again, everyone. The recovery is going very well :-)
