Missed meetings

Have I missed much at the last couple of support meetings?  I had another shoulder surgery yesterday so I won't be out and about for a while.  The pain is horrible and I am hoping each day will get better.  Does anyone know if "partners in chance" is going to continue over the summer?   I missed that group on Tuesday also. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but it is hard to type.  I have been reading all the other posts, though.  Hope everyone is well. Take care, Ellen

Sorry to hear about the shoulder.  I will say OUCH for ya!  I have missed them too...school and work has been busy time for me.  Not good because I am forgetting about myself.  As soon as things cool down and I can remember what day is what and when the groups meet.  I was going to go tonight but I didn't get home until 8PM.  You take care.  See you soon Debbie

Ellen, I am so sorry to hear about your new surgery.  I went to the PMRI meeting at the beginning of the month Gabrielle did an awesome meeting there.  I was signed up for the Partner's in Change but forgot all about it again.  I swear sometimes I don't know where my brain is.  I did go last night to Silverside Rd and that was good.   Hope you feel better soon. Partner's in Change is a monthly meeting at PMRI that is run by Margret Keenan.  It is an awesome meeting, we discuss all the mental things that happen when we have wls.  I highly reccommend this meeting.

I haven't been to any meetings in so long.  Last class is next week then vacation.  I hope to be back in the meeting cycle starting in July. Sorry to hear bout your shoulder.  Feel better soon honey!

I hope this note finds you on the mend and that the pain has subsided today. 

I did go to "partners in change"  on Tuesday. There were only 6 of us and that includes Margaret Keenan. We won't be meeting again until September.  Deb, This meeting is held at PMRI on the second Tuesday of the month. Dr Keenan is the facilitator. It is a mixed group of lap band and gastric bypass patients. Somewhat structured but always open for new discussions. Did you get the new list of support group meetings from PMRI? If not, call them and have one mailed to you..some really good topics. Take care,  Linda Barrett
