OT: New driver on the road...

Happy Mother's day to the moms....just took my youngest for her drivers license today - actually permit, with the graduated license. So what a gift for me! Yikes! Made it through one; this one - she is alot like me and sometimes that isn't good, if you know what I mean! I figure when I get home from riding with her, I will suck down lots of water...no stress eating. I'll let you know how it goes!! I know I'm not allowed to grab and gasp~ my older daughter told me that even after I stopped with the gasp, she could still see the grab. And I can't really close my eyes - defeats the purpose of the 'supervising parent'. What should I use as a personal mantra...any ideas?? On a personal note for me - got my first fill yesterday - 1cc - and I am still on liquids but can't wait to see what happens with softs later tonight/tomorrow - will I feel fullness???? Hey Lucy, hope all is well with you. I feel your pain, with the kids driving. My daughter got her grad license the day before Christmas break. She starts driving on her own in June. Not looking forward to it at ALL. Everyone keeps saying that I have to let go a little, but its hard. Keep in touch.
