I am not happy with the Delaware web site!!!! It seems unless you have a WOW moment to post no one wants to here from you or even respond to your problem. I posted about my plateau problem 2 days ago and not one person could respond to it. While I don't begrudge anyone an outlet to pat youself a on the back about your accomplishments. I think the DE web site has formed an occult status and unless you are a part of the select few no one is accepted. "Get you head out of the clouds Delaware"! Not everyone has reached their goals yet. And a little help from those who "have been there and done that" would be nice. Rosemary

Well put... I couldn't agree more. Where is everyone and why have you stop posting????? Even those who are far along in their journey can still help those who are not. Remember what it felt like and the struggles you have been though. Rosemary, I have been at a plateau for quite a while so I am not sure I can help you. I know the right things to do but can honestly say that I am not doing them. I am still getting in all my vitamins but you have to pump up your liquids and proteins and I know exercise is hard for you so I am not going to push that but even 5-10 minutes a day will help. Try hard to get more water and protein and I will too and we can see if that will help. Good luck and don't give up on these people...sometimes they just need someone to YELL at them and shame them into answering. Worked for me Ellen

You are right not everyone has reached goals yet...some of us can't. I am one of those! Its really tough trying to give advice and guidance when you are having problems yourself. There are many success stories that can help but because they have done more with life they have moved on....Be happy with what you have accomplished...sometimes goal is not what this is all about. I am finding that out. Debbie

Thank you, Debbie and Ellen. Don't ever think that what you have to say does not matter because you are not were you would like to be yet! Your experience and honesty is a benefit to all of us. I know too many people that never reached their goal weight and feel like failures, but if they would share this info. maybe it could be a help to all of us. We have to stick together on this journey and this web site should be the place to do that. I read other states web sites and they put DE to shame. We need to do a better job!!!!

Rosemary, thank you for posting this message, sad to say though this is the 3rd or 4th message like this in 2 months. It seems like no one cares about our state board anymore. There also seems to be a lacking of support at some of the support group meetings, and I don't mean that in a bad way. It is always the same people at the meetings. What I would like to know is where are all the new people that have had surgery, there are between 25 to 50 surgeries done a week at CHRiS and we can't seem to get 10 of these people to come out to a support group meeting or post here on the board. This is a life changing surgery that we have all had, and we need help and assistance to get threw the hard days and plateaus and celebrate the WOWs and other joys that happen in our lives. This board just doesn't want to do anything anymore and it is sad. I remember the day Dr. Wynn gave me the paper on where I could find more information about the surgery and the first thing I did was sign up for this website and come to the DE board for help. There was always a page of posts per day and now we can't even get a page of posts for the month. I don't know what to tell you about the plateau, I am 20lbs from my personal goal weight and I struggle everyday to get off even a few ounces and my scale doesn't seem to be moving either. If I don't get the 21lbs off, it isn't a huge deal, I have done an awesome job at my weight loss, but I would love for my bmi to be normal and for that I need to weigh 170lbs. Good luck Deanna

Thank you Deanna. I have to admit that I don't go to enough support meetings, maybe if I did some of my questions would be answered. I star****er therapy on Mon. at the wilmington hospital and I go Friday for a MRI to see if I have a torn monistis. I guess I will have to wait this stall in my weight loss out and hope that things get moving soon.

HEY! I've been postin!!!! It's these other slackers who need to post too! I just didn't have anything to add to your since I'm still 20# away from my personal goal and have been within 3# of the same weight for almost a year now. Frankly, I think you answered your own questions in your plateu post. Not being able to exercise and the steriods are major contributors to not losing. We all know that, but sometimes just saying ir out loud or writing it down is necessary to kick yourself in the butt so you can work out a program to follow. I'm in the same boat, only I am able to exercise but just need to concentrate on getting these last classes out of my way.

Thank you Dineen: I know you post. I did not mean this for everyone. The others I hope will be shamed into doing a better job with the DE web site. You should be very proud of your accomplishments with both your weight and education. That is no easy feat to work on. I know because I put my education on hold for a year now to tackle my health issues. So you walk proud during your graduation for a job well done!!!!

Well, I'll just throw myself here with that comment. I haven't been able to make the daily meetings, but I do try to meet on Satudays, except for bad planning and missed the last one. I have been doing good, lost 45 lbs in 8 weeks, dropped 4 sizes, and am ready to go down to the next one soon as well. Sad to say, I have been more active on other forums, than this one, their activity levels has been greater than this one. I hope y'all have been doing ok, the newbies and the oldtimers. Staying focussed, al
