OT - Graduation Wow Moment

OK my college graduation is Friday afternoon. I picked up my cap and gown the other day. Now my graduation for my Associates degree was back in 2003 when I was at my heaviest. I had to exchange the gown that they originally gave me for my 1st graduation because I was too fat to get the damn thing zippered. I was so embarrassed. This time however, the "normal" sized gown they gave me fits perfectly! I was so nervous trying it on because that fat girl is still inside me and every once in a while she gets out to bite me in the butt and mess with my perception. I'm so excited this time! I never even took any pictures the last time because I was so embarrassed at how big I was, now I'm gonna be such a photo *****! I can't believe my last class ends on June 19th! Now maybe I can get my social life back, guilt free. Since 2001 every time I'd go out anywhere I felt guilty because I probably should've been studying or working on a project or making up the time with my daughter.

Congrats to you! Its alot of work. I just finished first course....I have more to go....I have 9 credits before Associates but I think I will hang out for BS. I get to do a Biology and psych course for the summer. Its hard working, school, and family .....balance is very hard. Glad you made it through. Debbie
