Its time for a D
I think I have a few D's. The first one that comes to my mind is Dancing. I have always loved to dance, but the heavier I got the harder that became. Now I am out just about every Fri and Sat night Dancing until I can't dance anymore. I love it and have fun doing it, plus I am out meeting all kinds of new people.
The next D would be Drink, I have never been much of a water drinker, so it is extremely important for me to force the water into my body. It is getting easier, but somedays I am lucky if I get in 10oz.
The next one is DYNOMITE, because that is how I am feeling these days.
The last one would be Diet for me also. It is no longer a Diet but a lifestyle. I will never Diet again, I know what I need to do and will continue to do it.
Come on everyone, what is your "D"

Determined. I am determined to make this tool work to my best advantage. I have days that I feel discouraged when the scales are idle, but it passes. I simply increase the water and protein and the scale moves again. Another D word is Delighted. I was delighted to have the chance and the stamina to play in the sand on the beach with my granddaughter yesterday. Last year, all I could do was sit at the picnic table and watch her play. I played with her this time. It was wonderful.

D is for DON'T give up. Even when we have bad days we know we can get back on track. Even the other day when I ate three Oreos for breakfast because I was stressed and they were there...I knew I would not make that my daily habit like it the past. (Besides, before I would not have stopped at three ). DETERMINATION is another word that I think of when I am having a bad time. I am determined not to let myself fall back into those bad habits again. DIET would have been my first thought in the past, but I removed that from my vocabulary.
Have a DELIGHTFUL DAY and keep remembering how far we have come and the DOORS that have opened up for us (and we can fit through them now ).

I have to agree with the no "diet" anymore....I will never diet anymore, eat protein first, veggies and drink, drink, drink my water. I also have been doing some dancing, recently finished up our beginner Salsa dance lessons. What fun this has been. I am also determined to succeed in my journey and get to goal weight.
