quetions about tummy and breast surgery on 05/08/07

Hi everyone I am having an abdominoplasty tummy and mastapexy breast plastic surgeries on May 8th at Wilmington Hospital in DE. Can anyone tell me how my recovery time wll be while I am at home. I have seen lots of the plastic surgeries on tv, they show the surgery and then viola a happy customer but never how anyone does during recovery time. Since insurance is not covering this, I am taking 3 weeks vacation time. Do you think I will be healed enough in three weeks to go back to an office job? Will I be able to use the steps, should I plan on sleeping downstairs for a few days. How were your first couple of days after the surgery. I know to expect pain, I feel that I can handle it having gone through knee replacement last year. Any advice that you can offer? Was it worth it to you? If you had a do over opton, would you do it over again? Also, when did you feel normal meaning back to your old healthy self?
