WOW WOW Moment!

I went to the bank today. No biggie. I pulled up into the drive-thru and sent my withdrawal slip up the tube. The teller called out, "Are you Katherine Gallagher?" and I said, "Yeah, do you need to see my ID? My account number is pre-printed on the slip." She said, "Well, the picture we have of you on file doesn't look like you at all." So I sent my drivers license through the tube, and she still said it didn't look like me but because the signatures match, they would complete my transaction. I told them the picture on my ID was taken in June 2005, and I have lost nearly 100 pounds since then. She called back and said, "Oh my go**** IS you! Wow, what a difference!" Maybe I should have a new photo taken for my ID. I was delirious. Looking forward to more of these moments, let me tell ya.

Kathy, that is awesome. I have had people look at my driver's license and then back at me and I said it is me. I am actually less then what my driver's license says too, by 33lbs, it expires next year, but I think I may be getting a new one once I hit my goal. Congrats to you. Deanna

I don't get mine renewed until 2009 . I had mine taken right after I had the surgery. Can't wait to see that... Sandy

Kathy, Congrats to you. What a great feeling. I had a similar instance at the airport. The security stopped me, looked at me, the driver's license, called another gaurd over, conversed. I smiled and told them I had surgery and had lost 200 lbs. They continued to whisper and called a 3rd agent over. Finally they all smiled and allowed me to pass. I loved it. I have since gone and had a new license made. I was afraid they would detain me and not allow me to get through security. Gotta love those looks of disbelief. ((HUGS) Elissa
