Hello...I am interested in having the lap-rny. I am looking @ Barix Clinics in Langhorne, PA and my insurance is BCBS PPO. I was told the surgery would be covered. My initial consultation is Fri. and I made an additional appointment w/ my primary care physician just to get her opinion.... I think she will be supportive....I believe she wanted me to do this a long time ago......ANYWAY.......ANY ADVICE????? ANY INFO ON BARIX CLINICS??? Thank You, Lisa

Lisa, There are lots of people on the PA board that have used Barix and liked them. I would like to suggest you copy your post there and you should get alot of info from them. Delaware has some people that use PA docs but the majority of them use Chrias Dr team. Good luck on your consultation...you will do fine. Debbie

I know that Bariax has closed the doors on some of their clinics in the midwest. Whatever doctor you choose, please research them thoroughly before you make a final decision. Good luck honey!

It helps to be close to the surgeon's office, the support group and the nutritionist. I would highly recommend Chrias - 537 Stanton-Christiana Rd. Suite 102 Newark, De 19713 (302)892-9900 I had my surgery done in December and have been very pleased with the care and aftercare. Good luck, Hilde
