WAKE UP DELAWARE BOARD!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK Delaware pre and post ops, we need to give this board a serious kick in the pants. We have people that are just now looking into this surgery and if we aren't there to help them, who knows what is going to happen. They won't know about our wonderful support groups or what great people we have here in DE. Al has had his surgery and posted and there were only a few people to post back to him.
I know I am just as guilty to not posting, but I am trying right now. Work will be slowing down and I will hopefully have more time on my hands. No more lurking on the DE board, even if you just pop in and make a quick post and say HI we know you are still out there. We need each other on this journey, I know I look up to the ones who are further out and hope that I will be as successful as them. So if I am doing that, just think about the new people that don't know that there is a great support system on this board.
So let's get posting. Tell us what's going on in your life, anything new and exciting, any WOW moments, even anything sad (we will be there for you). We just need to get this board alive again. When I first found out about this board there was at least a page of posts a day, now we are lucky if we get a page of posts in 2 weeks.

These boards do need a kick in the pants. There are times when there is nothing new on here for several days. (I read them everyday ) Lets get some discussions going. Where are you Debbie Cox ??? Hope you are well. We can always depend on you to start some lively thoughts going in our heads.
Deanna...we missed you at dinner. We had fun and stayed there until about 10:30. We are planning to do it again. I am so sorry to hear you broke up with your boyfriend. Better times are just around the corner. It sounds like you have a super busy weekend.
My husband and I went to see "Hairspray" tonight and it was great. It is such a pleasure to sit in the seats and not have my legs fall asleep because my butt is squeezed in the seat so tightly Come on people you know that has happened to you in the past. I now fit in the seats very comfortably so I guess that is a WOW moment for me. I am going to NYC on Tuesday with some teacher friends. We are now offically on Spring Break. Three days in New York will leave me poorer but happy.
Shake the lead out people and get typing here.

I tried kicking folks around a couple of weeks ago. There was a flurry of activity for 2 or 3 days but since then, almost nothing. There's strength in numbers and the more we post, the more posts we'll see. I am as guilty as the next guy about not posting to the DE OH board.
My quit smoking date was March 20. I didn't quit. I set a new date, but right after that, the Chantix started making me real nauseous so I stopped taking it. Nice. My phone counselor will be very disappointed in me.
My landscaping delivery did not arrive this week as scheduled so I do not look forward to planting 27 flowering trees and bushes in next week's driving rain. Dang it. I wanted them here THIS week. Mudpies on special next week, free for the asking!
My daughter and son-in-law are moving into their own place this weekend so it will be nice to have my house back to normal---it's been very crowded and stressful here since November. Our granddaughter Karissa has been visiting her father in Michigan...she will be back next week. We have missed her!
My husband had 2 surgeries this past week; one was an emergency inguinal hernia repair on Tuesday, and the other was a VNUS procedure to collapse a giant varicose vein that went all the way down his left leg. He's sore but doing well. Both of these issues were a direct result of his years of super obesity. He is 2 1/2 years post Open RNY and has lost 220 pounds. He and I will be attending the support group meeting in Rehoboth on April 3rd. Friend Joanne Hammond has asked us to deliver our testimonies to inspire and encourage other pre and post ops. Hope to see you all there.
