Hey everyone! The scales are moving once again, finally! I got through my plateau after 5 weeks and the scale has been real slow going down, but the numbers are excellent this morning! 17 more pounds and I will be under 200! I haven't been under 200 pounds in over 15 years. The difference in how I feel and my physical capabilities is already profound. I am so anxious to know what I will feel like at goal. I can comfortably walk a bit of distance, I wore size L leggings over the weekend, and my pink T-shirt keeps getting hung up on stuff from being so baggy. The t-shirt is the one I wore to my last pre-op visit with Dr. Irgau, when my "before" pictures were taken. I wear it now to every follow-up appointment---it says "well, la-de frickin' da" on it. It's a size 5X and I swim in it now. It was snug before surgery. I want to post my before picture at some point but I am waiting to lose a bit more, take another picture in the shirt, and post it too. The picture currently in my profile is pretty blurry, taken on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry a week before my surgery. I also took our dog, SpongeBob to an open field and ran like hell with him, without having pain and breathlessness! Amazing.

Hi kathy, they are great WOW moments.... I too am still experiencing them now. This weekend I had two more myself, last Friday I officially weighed the same as my husband, 56.5 down, yeah, then this a.m. I'm in the 180's so I'm officially below him. Also, we took advantage of the nice weather Sat and did our Battery Park walk, well he had a hard time keeping up with me! The last time we did the walk together was after surgery in November and I was sluggishly following him down the path, what a difference a couple of month and some lbs make huh!! Michelle
