Sluggish: We need each other!
I don't want to offend anyone but this really bugs me...our forum/message board is so slow. I might see one or two posts a day and I don't understand it. OH is a great place to get support and encouragement, but I am often lurking around other State boards because it seems no one here is really interested in our message board. The Delaware OH chapter has hundreds and hundreds of members, but where are you all? I see a few regulars that post often but that's it. A lot more people are out there that could be posting and liven this place up a bit! What's the scoop? We need each other!

Kathy, Looks like you have taken the 1st step in livening up this site. I think generally alot of old timers still lurk, but their lives have moved on and they rarely post any more. The same thing has happened at the support group meetings. I'd love hearing from them. I miss them. They are such a part of my journey. I guess I'm addicted to this site. It helps keep me focused & positive. I always enjoy the information I learn and am willing to share it often. Guess it shows!!!!
So all you lurkers, pre & post let us hear from you. Let us know how you are. Good or bad, you know you are thought about and loved. ((HUGS)) Elissa
I agree...when I first started out, this board was jumping with ideas, recipes and general help for everyone. I still check everyday but there are not really any good discussions going on. Oldies...come back and Newbies...don't be afraid to ask questions and participate in discussions.
Let's get this Delaware Board jumping again. There are tons of us out there who together have lost tons or hope to. We have have or need good advice.
Kathy I will have to say that your comments are not out of line, I have found great resources in these post-op ladies when I was pre-op. I asked alot of questions and went through my surgery. Although I'm still early out I find this board slow at times, therefore I participate mostly in the Nov 06 surgery board and the RNY forum. These boards are jumping with things. Especially the NOv 06 board since we are all at the same place in our journies. I would love to see more here also.....

Wow, I have been wanting to post this same post for about 5 months now, but was afraid to hurt someone's feelings. I have enjoyed this board also and miss the fun topics and discussions we had on here. Everyone was there for me throughout my journey and now that I am 11 months (hard to believe) post op it seems this board has died. I do go to as many support group meetings as I can, but I miss the daily interaction we have had on here. The daily check ins and the alphabet game. I haven't been on much because of work. They are watching every move we make in there especially with computers so I am only going on sites that I know I can, so I can't check in during the day, only early morning or late at night.
WAKE UP DELAWARE POST AND PRE OPS, WE NEED YOU TO KEEP THIS BOARD GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
