Hi everyone - it's been a while since I've been on here, and I apologize profusely! I've got some questions that I know you all can help me with - so...here goes! 1) How do I go about accessing my profile on OH and updating it. With the new format, I'm hopelessly lost. 2) I'm a year and a half out, and it seems I've stalled in losing - what can I do kick it up again? I've been hitting the gym 3x a week, and I'm still toggling right around the same weight I've been since October. I've lost a total of approx. 163lbs., but that's not acceptable and Dr. Irgau says I can lose a lot more, but I don't know what the heck to do to boost my metabolism into high gear - any ideas? Also, if I haven't said it in a while - thanks to all of you for your never ending support! It means alot to me!!!! THANKS!!!!!!

Hi Cathy, I am only 4 1/2 months out and have already had a plateau. I overcame this first stall by getting back to basics; sip sip sip, walk walk walk, and go back to eating like you are fresh out of surgery..very small amounts high in protein, low in fat and calories. The pouch stretches over time and can allow you to eat more, thus taking in more calories. I was stuck for about 6 weeks, partly because I got sick and wasn't eating enough. I find that if I don't eat enough, I either gain a few pounds or get stuck in a rut of not losing. Good luck and hope this helps. KathyG

Cathy, 1st of all 163 lbs how awesome is that? Try going back to basics. Change your exercise routine. Add something new to it. Make sure you are getting enough protein & liquids in. The important thing is to keep motivated, be positive & stay focused. I'm sure at this point you can do a little more food. Let those good habits from the 1st 6 months re-kindle and go back to the basics. Keep up the good job. ((HUGS)) Elissa
