I need a favor.

I know that the last we all need is another insurance post but.... I do need a favor... You see, I too have BCBS. I also have post surgery complications that are looking like they are headed to future surgery. Darn these ulcers. We have tried for the past 16 months to heal these things and it is not working. I am currently living daily on codeine to get by. I can afford to pay the $125 but... so what??? If I need surgery I cannot afford that out of pocket! And no other surgeon will touch me. Now what? The favor? Toss some prayers, positive thoughts my way please? I think I'm going to need them in a big way. ((((((((((((((( thank you everyone! ))))))))))))))))) Gigee

My prayers and thoughts are with you. I am not giving up yet. I am still fighting blue cross...their answers are not acceptable. It is not the office visits that are the real problem...it is the emergencies and future surgeries that I, like you, worry about. We need to get a group together and talk to the doctors and the insurance company. Changes need to happen. I would love to see you and catch up on things. Love ya, Ellen

When I spoke with my CHRIAS surgeon about just this, if it were to happen. I was told you go to the ER and BC/BS will have to cover it. However, I am not sure if you are not admitted from the ER. Like if the surgeon wants to schedule you for surgery. I would talk to your Primary Care Doctor as well. Yoo deserve to have it repaired by the doctor you trust. That really sucks, I am sorry to hear that. Remember it is YOUR BODY. . . Complain, complain, complain. You should not be abandoned it is unethical.

I've had no problems with ER, in fact, I've been there too much! Just a week ago again as a matter of fact.. ugh... anyway...... My PCP has taken over most of my care and script writing. She was a surgical intern so has great understanding on that part as well. I feel blessed to have found her as a doctor. But only so much she can do. I take great comfort in the post that came a couple of hours after we got these prayers and positive thoughts going. I have not called to confirm but the post said CHRIAS is back in the network. I have Dr appt tomorrow and some meetings.....Try and call me in the early AM....my afternoon fills up quick. My boss has me in a new job....I am going to learn to be a proposal manager for Italy campaign. I willl not be going to Italy but I will be heading up proposal effort....sweet. I am so happy about this assignment. Debbie
