9 days until surgery

Went yesterday for clearance with the surgeon, now to my pcp for his final clearance that is next Thursday. Nothing like waiting until the last minute to get it done. Making sure thinks are covered here at work. Debating on taking off next Friday, just as a mental health day. Next weekend will be cleaning and cooking to make sure meals are made for the family while I'm in the hospital. I thought when the surgery date was this close, I would start to feel a little scared, but I'm not. I can't wait to get it over and done with and onto a healthier life. I will put some photo's up soon.

Congrats on the date, Terry. Sounds like you've done your homework and know what to do.... Isn't that a great way to beat the pre-surgical gitters (being prepared, that is). You'll do great. Don't be surprised if the day before you get a feeling of uneasiness, that's normal. Good luck and keep us posted. Dianne
