I HAVE A DATE

Hi Everyone I have a date of 1/22/07 pre-op is 1/11. Every excited. Now that the surgery date is so close, it feel so far away. Please put me in your prayers. Terry

Terry, I am so excited for you to start this journey. I will tell you so far for me it's been a lifesaver, I feel great and am looking better with everyday. I can't tell you how many times a day someone says I look younger!! Michelle

Terry, I just went post op on 12/28/2006! Knock on wood EVERYTHING has been great. You will find it weird that in class they talk like by 2:00 that sfternoon you will be doing this and by 6:00 you will have done this and this will have happened.. And well it's weird but they were 100% RIGHT ON. I don't see who your Dr is or what hospital... But I can tell you I was VERY impressed with Chrias Dr's and Christiana. Relax the next few weeks... it's not always easy.. But you will do just fine! James

Hi Terry. How are you feeling? Do you have the chapstick ready for the hospital? Will you be doing the 2 days clear liquid diet? Try to remain focused and positive. It'll soon be here & gone. Here I am 3 yrs later. Not sure where the time has gone. I wish you all the best and pray for a speedy recovery. Did you ever make it to any support group meetings? Hope to see you soon. Hi Elissa one of the requirements from the doctor from Crozer is to go to their support group meetings. However, I have been to two for CHARIS before switching doctors and I have found the meetings helpful and delightful. I am shopping this weekend for what I need and chapstick is one of them, along with broth. I can't wait, 4 more days and I'll be a loser Thanks for your support Terry
