Almost to surgery day

Hello everyone, never really posted here, but it is time for me to get going and be with you all. After all I am going to become a loser too I have a date set for now as Jan 8 for my Lap Banding by Dr. Peters. This is as long as the insurance thing works out, I as of yet still do not have approval, they said that I must have my last Dr. visit before the surgery to get clearance....I see Dr. Peters on Wed. but this is too close for comfort for me only two business days between then and my date. Hope it works out. Hope to chat more with ya.

Good Luck to you on your Journey to a Healthier you. With all of my ups and downs even here lately I still believe that the Lap Band was and still is the BEST thing that I have done for MY health. I didnt get approval until a few days before my surgery either and that was scary too. Try not to worry even tho I know its not easy. Hang in there and if you have any questions please feel free to ask away................

Scott, One word.... RELAX! Put pressure on Misty to make sure she has EVERYTHING they asked her for. And CALL, CALL , AND CALL the Insurance Comp and Chrias to get the details. It's like living on the edge....lol

Well the date has been moved to 1-15 now.

I will be going to St. Francis, the surgery is scheduled for 7:30 AM.

Hi Scott, Well you only have a few days before surgery now..... The couple of days with only clear liquids, but don't worry.... You will do wonderfully.... Good Luck and I will keep you in my thoughts and Prayers...I had the Lap Band done on the 1st of November I am into my 3rd month and I feel great....Since I have started this journey I have lost 44 pounds!!
