I can't believe the day is here
It's been a very long struggle since june to get approved for surgery, even lost my insurance once but the timing couldn't be better. Everyone i discuss my surgery with always asks me what am i going to do because it's so close to christmas time but when it's all said and done i've had years and years of eating whatever and however i wanted(don't confuse this i did whine and cry because i wanted to eat) but i did have self control and that's what this is all about and having a new lifestyle and what better gift can i give to myself then to have a new lease on life and all i have to do is just make a commitment to my body and self!!!! It is now december 20th surgery day for me, i'm nervous and scared but it will definitely be a better outcome than if i did nothing and continue to gain the weight. I also stopped smoking which was another bad habit that i was able to kick with a little help. But i so excited and looking forward to the next year of my life, a happy healty and positive one. I will be able to talk to u soon when i get home hopefully by friday 12/22 if everything goes as planned. And i really want to thank so many people especially my best friend karyn who has been there all the way for me, i love u so much. thanks u are my angel.
Many Blessings to you as you imbark in the Journey to a Healthier lifetime. Each and every step along this journey might not be easy as life isnt at times but in the end it will be Worth it! You are not alone on the Post-op diet over the Holidays part. I am on liquids for the 2nd year in a row at the Holidays but this year I am down 75lbs and healthier then last year. Go with grace into your surgery and let us know when you get home................
