Well, on friday, a few hours before my scheduled 6 month post op appointment I got a call from Dr. Wynn's office. (They called a day or two before to confirm) The were calling me to inform that as of that day (friday) they were no longer in network with my Blue Cross, and that when I come in I would have to pay for the visit out of pocket. She said they just found out that day. There is a big difference between a 30$ co pay and a full 125$ charge. I told them I didn't have it and wouldn't be able to come. You know that is some mess, to call me the day of. I did not get any advance notice of this from them at all. Let this be a warning in case anyone else with Blue Cross and an upcoming appointment. Thank goodness I am not having any complications right now that need to be addressed. Hopefully in January when my money is not tied up with Christmas I will be able to get in there. I also asked her about my recent blood work, in case there were any problems. Some one was supposed to call me back and never did. I hope there aren't any abnormal values to b concerned with. Well, Good Luck to everyone else Jen R.
