I READ MY UPPER GI REPORT. i HAVE A MODERATE SIZE HIATAL HERNIA WITH GASTROESPHAGEAL REFLUX!!! 1. WHAT IS A HIATAL HERNIA? 2. WILL IT INTERFERE W MY LAP BAND? 3. WHAT IS GASTROESPHAGEAL REFLUX - ACID REFLUX? I have this - how could i now know!! Help!!!!Dr Peters has not notified me.

Take it easy... a Hiatal Hernia is an opening in the muscle wall that your intestines push through. It can only be fixed by surgery and the funny thing is it is caused by surgery.
