Halloween Roll Call

Hi all , I just thought I would stop in and give all an update. My daughter Debbie had surgery last Monday. She had open RNY. It started out laproscopic but became open. She was afraid of getting it done open but knew it was a possibility. She is doing fine. She goes to the Dr's tomorrow and then can start on the soft diet from liquid. I'm sure we all remember them days. I am really looking foreward to her progress and journey over the next year or so. My husband is doing good and putting weight back on each week. As for me I am still struggling but losing the weight I gained slowly. I have set a goal to lose about 40 lbs by April when I will be 2 years out. I hope all has a good Halloween and gets rid of all that candy we don't need. Remember it can be trash in your body or trash in the trash can !!!! See all lighter. Joanne

Glad Debbie is doing well. Its good you get a refresher. You will get the extra weight off....I have confidence in you.
