Can someone answer me one question. My best friend had bypass her surgery at 9.30am this morning. Was done around 1.30pm and at 4.30om her husband still had not seen her. How does a person feel after the surgery and day off. I so bad want to talk to her but just don't know how she would be feeling. Thanks, a loving friend.

Diana, as with any surgery, some people do great and others are sleepy & hurting. Kinda depends on how you react to the anesthesia. My roomy slept for 2 days, it was hard for her to come out of it. I was up & walking within an hour of getting to my room. I was very afraid of blood clots and was determined to get out of bed as soon as I could. Call her. As soon as you hear her voice you'll know how she feels. Hope she did well. She'll need to remember to walk, sip & breathe. That will be her job for a few days. Here's praying for a speedy revovery for her. ((HUGS)) Elissa
