Soy Protein
Soy protein is higher in calories and not absorbed as well with our new plumbing as whey. But protein is protein......real foods are better as many Dr's say....I use the carbwell bars...they are soy protein based. There is soy milk....not that bad but my tummy is not a big milk fan.
I hope someone has ideas for you...
It was great seeing you tonight!

Debbie, It is always nice seeing both you and Tim. I have done the carbwell bars too and thought they were good. I did get a reply from the leader board and they recommended Revival Soy. I do Whey protein myself for the reasons you mentioned but this person can not do whey. I really enjoyed the meeting. You all are such a great bunch of people and so inspirational. I will see all next month. See you lighter . Joanne
Hey ladies ... here is something on soy protein that landed in my inbox just this morning. I found it an interesting read, especially since I had always read that Whey protein was the easiest and best protein. At any rate, take it with a grain of salt and certainly do not believe just because of one article on the net ... but I felt it was something worth looking in to ...

FYI - I like tofu, soy of all kinds and I do use the Revival Soy in the crisps and nuts. Have not tried the shakes or bars there yet.
