I'M BACKKKKKKK

Hi everyone: I'm sure most of you have forgot who I am and judging by the message board and the fact I don't recognize most of the names, I know you won't know who the heck I am. What happened to all the oldies (but goodies I might add) I need you more now then ever!!!! I see some of the old regulars still post, but fewer then before. What ever happened to Bonnie Miller? Well I have GREAT NEWS!!!! I am scheduled for surgery on Dec. 5th. I have a new insurance (BCBS OF DE) and Dr. Irgau said that if I get everything done by Dec. 15th everything will be covered. So after 15 months of trying to work with CIGNA and going though the appeal process and finally giving up altogether, God found me a new job with a new insurance so that I can now get this much needed surgery. I have not been able to post since the message board was changed, but I have lurked. So I will keep everyone posted of my new developments Rosemary

Hi Rosemary, I don't recognize you but I'm Michelle and moving forward to have my wls soon also...I dont' have a date yet but we are shooting to get it in before the 12/15 deadline which seems to be coming quick...lol I am almost done my other doc's so I don't see that as a problem. That is great news you got your date and I look forward to moving through this journey with you together. Michelle

Hi Michelle and welcome to the world of WLS. I was to have surgery back in July of 2005, but things did not work out to my advantage, but I never gave up and did all that I could so that now I'm ready. I have very good friends who kept pushing and encouraging me to keep fighting and you will find that there are wonderful people just like that on this web site who are great and will inspire you also. Thanks Rosemary, it's been such a busy day today for me at work, but tomorrow I have to call everyone and see what's going on. I still haven't received my packet from the Pulmonologist and I spoke with them about three weeks ago, albeit my appt in 11/7 but I thought it would be here by now. Good luck again to you! Michelle

Rosemary I'm so happy that you finally got your approval!!!!! I remember when they pulled the rug out from under you at the last minute. Glad to see you didn't give up!.. You keep on fightin girl!
