The brain can be a scary place!
Hi all,
Just wanted to post a funny little story. I've been foster mothering six kittens. I let them play in one of my spare bedrooms for exercise. The rest of the time, they are forced to stay in cages. (it breaks my heart). They will end up at Petsmart for adoption.
Their favorite toy ended up under the day bed back against the wall. I tried to reach it, but being 4'8, your stretch isn't that long. I got a broom and was trying to hit the toy or drag it closer to me. After about 15 minutes, i realized i could climb under the bed and get it. Prior to this surgery, anytime my nephews played under the bed (their fort as they called it), I couldn't fit under the bed to retrieve whatever they had neglected to clean up.
I climbed under the bed, got the toy and just sat there laughing. The old me forgot that the new me only weighs 106 pounds and can more than fit under there.
See how that brain still plays tricks with you!
Luv ya,
Deb

PS If you want a kitten, 5 are ready to adopt.
