WAKE UP DELAWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am yelling to wake up everyone. Where are you? I miss reading all the posts and to hear what is going on in your life. I miss Debbie's letter of the day or week. I miss the WOW moments. Let's see if we can have a record post and get back in touch with each other.
I have a WOW moment. I was down in Dover on Sat and Sun for the NASCAR races and had a great time. Last year I was there and thought I was going to die though. Between the walking and heat it was awful, I was always out of breath and need to take frequent rests. This year I was all over the place, I was running up and down the steps to get pictures of the drivers and I was never out of breath. We walk all over the place on both days and didn't need to stop for a rest every. Last year I had to use the handicap restroom, this year I went right into the regular stall and had plenty of room. It was the best eye opener I have had. I love my new life.
COME ON EVERYONE POST SOMETHING.....ANYTHING.....STOP IN AND SAY HELLO!!!

Thanks Ellen, I was beside myself all weekend with that WOW moment. I went shopping last night and bought some new clothes at Walmart and today I am wearing a size 16W skirt, and it looks pretty good. Now I am down from a 26/28 to a 16. Wow moments are a good thing, I like them....lol. I go for my 6 month check up with PMRI on Friday and Dr. Wynn next Friday, we will see what they both have to say.
Have a great day!

Hi all,
I had a funny thing happen last weekend. I went to Pittsburgh for the weekend. The stewardess told me to pull my seatbelt tighter. She said you are so tiny, you could fall out. Far cry from when I used to need the seatbelt extender.
Things are going well for me. I'm holding steady between 106 and 108. I do most of my shopping in the junior department. It's still hard for me to believe that i wear a jr size 1 to 3 or a 00 in the adult department. I kept one of my old shirts. a 3x, as a reminder of what used to be and how miserable I was.
Best wishes to everyone, hope to see you soon. Someone please post some details about the picnic. I was sorry to miss it
Love ya,
Deb

Hello all,
Long time no type! it's hard to believe I will be three years post-op come March. My weight is holding steady having lost 125 pounds. I fluctuate 5 pounds or so depending on the time of the month and how much stress nibbling I have been doing.
I am so busy, busy all the time. I was working with developmentaly disabled kids and adults but was offered a new job back in August with the Board of Education. I am working as a paraprofessional in a classroom setting and let me tell you I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it. This is simply the best job I have ever had. The days are long during the school year but the holiday down time can not be beat! Add in getting the Summer off with paychecks because I opted for the 26 month pay...amazing, wonderful full benefits BCBS, vision, dental etc. They treat us very well. Not to mention I work with the best people who make me laugh all day long.
I hope you are all well and happy!
Linda
Hey All,
Its nice to see you guys post again as I remember reading your post when I came on board this past January. The DE board was hopping back then. I left for awhile because the stress of going through all the insurance stuff with the self funded company. Needless to say that part of my journey is over and I am finally on the losing side. I had my surgery 3 1/2 weeks ago and am down 24 lbs. It feels good to start seeing my clothes get looser!!!!!! Its nice to finally meet some of you ladies at the support groups. Take Care... Sharon
Deanna,
I am back to busy again! Lots to make up for...especially exercising! I have a Y buddy that we are doing aerobic classes with each other to keep us going! Last night was my first step class....I thought I would die. LOL. I know why I don't do group things....I look stupid and can't follow the steps and do them too! Anyone else like that????
Have a good one....
PS....Stop waking everyone up it will get really noisy in here....LOL
