2006 WLS Picnic

Bumping this up for Kenn.....again! ------------------------------------- Dear Friends, Hey you probably all think I fell off the face of the earth! But I am Back! So here we go again! Today i recieved another great donation from Dr Wynn's Office that will go towards our 2nd Annual Gastric Bypass Picnic. This years Date and Location are below. I am asking that those of you who are interested in helping out, please email me back with contact information as a number you can be reached at. Also, if anyone could please submit this onto the Obesityhelp.com web site for Delaware, i would greatly appreciate it. Since i now have access to a nice hall, i thought it would be a great idea to have it inside. There is a playground directly across the street from this hall and plenty of parking. Here is all the information: St Anthony's Holy Name Society Hall "Buck Serio Room" 1812 Howland Street Wilmington, Delaware 19805 Date: Saturday, September 23rd, 2006 Time: 12:00 Noon to 5:00pm Phone: 302-661-0102 If we can ask everyone to bring a covered dish as we did last time, only this time i am asking when people call in to let us know how many are attending, to let us know what they are bringing as well. Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Water, Crystal Light, Soda's will be provided as well as door prizes. If anyone has any idea, suggestions, comments, let me know, i need all the help i can get. I do have access to a Full Kitchen and their are bathroom facilities etc. there. This is a Pvt room for all of us to enjoy. Please ask everyone to r.s.v.p. by Saturday, September 16th, 2006 PLEASE! Kenn, I have not been on for awhile but my daughter, myself and 2 kids would like to come to the picnic. Can someone give more details as to the cost and directions. I am from lower slower Delaware and don't know this area well. What has everyone already committed to bringing? Are you having a clothing exchange this year? Hey Everybody, I am getting very concerned because i really havent heard alot of feedback as to people attending, but everything is still on for Saturday, September 23rd, The Picnic is from 12 noon to 5:00pm to be held at: This is the Fouriner Hall, one block from St. Anthony's Church where they hold the Italain Festival every year. I am hoping people are getting the word out there, Since some of our Friends from Chrias have left, Like Nicki, Ms Smith and now Bert, we dont have alot of others to get the word out like we used too. PLEASE! lets get everybody we can there, Dr Wynn was gracious enough to host it again. We alll know what a great time we had this year, and at least this time its inside. No need for a raindate. If you like to come up early and help set up, i will have the tables and chairs set up, but you can help with Tablecloths, setting up the buffet tables, etc.. Need Help decorating and someone to hand out chances for door prizes, also again we will have a table to swap clothing. If anyone has any suggestions, ideas, etc.. PLease include them this is a day we all can celebrate and share our updates. Remember, you can bring your family and friends, no need to ask me if you can bring anyone! Since I'm having surgery tomorrow morning Sept 18th....don't think I'll be up for the Picnic, but what a wonderful idea Count me in for next year! Hope the weather is great and you have a wonderful time!
