Where did everyone have ........
Hi Michelle and welcome, I had my surgery at Christiana at the time they were the only ones doing it St. Francis was not at that time. I was treated very well when I was there of course now things have changed with that hospital as far as the floors. But I would say go to where you are most comfortable. Also if I remember unless things have changed St. Francis was alot cheaper as far as classes that you had to take.
Good Luck

Michelle,
I had mine in Phila.....I have always trusted those hospitals up there...I don't know much about the Wilmington hospitals except that they are close to home. If you are comfortable with the hospital by all means do it there. That is why I did mine at PA Hospital. I had other procedures there.

I had my surgery done at Nanticoke in Seaford. I heard they no longer do them there.... and I wish that I hadn't done it there. My Dad had his done in Baltimore by Dr. Vanguri.
I spent 7 days in the hospital.... and I'll never forget the nurse that piled her clipboard, and other stuff on my tummy. It hurt even more because she leaned on her pile to check something. It hurt so bad I was tearing up and she ignored me when I asked her to take it off my tummy as my staples were really tender. The care there was horrible... I wouldn't recommend getting anything done there.
Definitely St Francis!
Easily some of the frienliest nurses I ahve had anywhere. Only one really nasty one ans wel...she was young.. Also with the new bariatric wing that I am sure the Docs at Chrias helped desing or at least had input on ti can't be half bad.
Best of luc on yor losing journey.
