New pic

What a great pic, you can really see the difference - Congrats.
By the way, how are those cute little boys doing? And I was wondering if you are still on blood thinners. I am. Had a really bad INR (3.8) done yesterday, have to hold the coumadin and get it down some, it'll be ok - just getting tired of having to stay on the coumadin lifelong, though.
Take care,
Dianne
Hi Dianne, the boys are doing great. I am still on the coumadin my INR was 3.0 I am on 17.5 then 20mg cause it goes up and down but I noticed the back of my legs are all bruised. What hematologist are you seeing again? I know about the life long thing so I know where you are coming from. Do you still crush your coumadin?
Christie
I never did crush the coumadin. I just take it regular, I did do the "dissolve test" and it worked.
My hematologist is Dr Philip Blatt. I know you had him, I remember reading one of your posts that stated you were not happy with him. He's not always the most friendly, but he is at the top of his field. My PCP manages my coumadin and I keep on top of it, but if I ever get another clot, I'd call Dr Blatt in a heartbeat.

You look great Christie! This is Carol Pryce from your Lifeskills class. I'm doing okay too and I need to put my before and after pics on my profile too. I'm down about 179 pounds(give or take a few!) and I'm doing good. I would really like to get together with anyone in our group who would like to just to see how everyone is doing. I know you were in school. How it is or have you finished? Take care of yourself and your family!
