Underwear Revalation

I was doing laundry this morning (6am, god only knows why ) folding clothes trying to get my stuff put away before I had to jump in the shower. I placed a pile of clothes in my daughter's room and asked her to put them away. Now when I fold clothes everybody has their own basket so the following was not a mistake. My daughter comes running out of her room waving a pair of white panties saying "Mommy whose are these? They're not mine!" I took them and looked again, they were MINE!!!! I had actually given her a pair of my underwear to put away thinking they were hers!!!! She's 8 years old fer cripes sakes and only weighs 68 pounds!!!! I took a good look at them, they are so SMALL!!! I'd never really noticed before. I've been buying some cheap underwear every few months cause I can't stand it when my undies get too big so I'd never really noticed that big of a difference as I went along. I held them up against a pre-op pair that for some reason I hadn't thrown away yet and almost cried! My old undies were GINORMOUS!!!! How the (insert proper curse word here) did I ever get myself to the place where I needed such big undies? God bless my surgeon and all of you for your support and guidance throughout this past year. Thank you. It's the stoopid little things like this that really brings it all home for me.

Gotta appreciate those undies now! Now when you get taken out by ambulance the guys won't say did you see those big undies? I think that was a fear of mine for a long time! I can't wear those thongs but those undies are definitely normal size. Debbie

Its so funny because we went camping this past weekend and I only brought 1 pair of undies for Chelsea (I swear I had several pair in her clothing pile befire I put them in the camper). Well the first thing she does is fall into a mud puddle. I had to give her a pair of my undies to wear while I washed and dried her panties. Heck the only thing I had to do was roll them up at the waist (she could pull them up to her armpits). She was like Hey Mom!!! We can wear the same underwear now!!!!
