Lump in throat

Hi everyone, I am lapbanded and have a question.... I have been banded for 15 days now and for about 2 days now I have had the sensation of a lump in my throat. Like something I have to cough up or swallow but nothing is there. I was fine for the first two weeks and then this started.. I am still on pure liquids , have not even had mushies yet... has anyone else experienced this throat lump? Thanks so much. Joy

I did, it lasted for a month or more for me, but went away on its own, i can't tell you what it was aside from annoying...hahah -Christina

HI... I feel like an idiot...this lump feeling was driving me crazy.. It felt like a huge flemball, sorry for being gross and guess what, it was.... I took my husbands Alegra D and it has eased up so much.. Must have been post nasal drip from this crazy allergy season here in Delaware and with the band I am just feel it more.. Just an fyi in case anyone else ever feels this. thanks

thanks for the Tip Ed, just had band surgery last Thursday and wondered what that lump was all about
